Greentree stands alone in its vertically integrated business model that includes a land and timber company, logging, and trucking companies. Meaning, Greentree buys its own standing pine timber, harvests the timber, and then transports the timber to its own sawmill in Liberty, MS. The mill then saws the logs on its 7-foot band saw and then ships the timbers and lumber throughout North America, Caribbean, Europe, and the Far East forest products markets. This business model allows Greentree to control its cost and pass the savings on to its customers and clients. While at the same time striving to be a leader in timberland stewardship, sustainable forestry, and best management practices in the forest products industry.
